"I read an article in the Ponsonby news prior to the Spa opening, We were about to fly to London, and as long haul flying is not something I
look forward to I thought I'd try the Spa the day of our flight. It was the best thing I could have done, and subsequently I boarded the
plane relaxed and managed to get a lot of sleep, (not quite so on the return flight)
The staff are welcoming, and the practitioners are absolutely expert, they guide one to a zone of quiet contemplation and total relaxation. I
wouldn't hesitate to recommend patronage. Price is extremely competitive, fantastic value for money. Off street Parking an added bonus. "

decided to pop along to the new Ponsonby spa myself and try a treatment. I found the whole experience so utterly relaxing and soothing, that
I have since followed up with 2 more treatments - there are so many wonderful experiences to try, and I am certainly going to be returning
for many more. I can't think of a better inner city sanctuary to rebalance your mind. It has also led me to look into more Ayurvedic

recommending this luxurious experience to all me friends. From the water feature to the tea and glorious smells to the soothing music this
was an experience to savour. The facial is really way more than a facial its a massage as well. My skin felt fantastic afterwards and my

"I came to the opening of spa ayurda and was impressed by the way the place looked. I have been intrigued by Ayurveda as I am of Indian
origin but had never tried it. I booked for the tri- dosha shortly after. The staff was welcoming from the start. The room was comfortably
warm. The therapist checked the temperature of the oil and was always sensitive to my comfort. I did find the massage beds slightly
uncomfortable though especially where you rest your face. This was minor though as I felt great after the massage. I am pregnant now and
would love to go back and try the prenatal massage. I think spa ayurda is a great east meets west concept.

"About six weeks ago I experienced a rewarding treatment at Spa Ayurda. I had an Ayurda Abhyanga massage and have been looking forward to my
next visit. I was extremely pleased with my treatment, it was very relaxing and the perfect antidote to the weekday stress. Kay, who
performed the treatment, was very experienced - I enjoyed having her tell me about the benefits of massaging each pressure point - I think
this is very important, so you leave feeling like you know that the treatment has not only been worthwhile at the time, but that the
benefits are also long lasting. Similarly, I enjoyed hearing about the intrinsic benefits of the treatment (useful for stress, anxiety,
emotional contentedness), as much as the physical benefits.
The only things I would have liked to be different is to have been asked if I wanted the room warmer, as while it was at a tepid temperature
I normally enjoy massages in a more heated room. Also, in certain areas, I would have preferred a firmer massage. Kay was very good, but in
areas such as the shoulder/back I feel more pressure could have been applied.
The ambience and environment at Spa Ayurda is great, it definitely puts you at peace the moment you walk in. The staff who work there are
also very courteous and warm which is so important in a spa environment.

"This is such a great spa...I have referred already 4 friends who think exactly the same. It is pure luxury...I have personally been
to a few places and this one tops it..you come out relaxed and ready to challenge the world. I have just this weekend recommended it to
another 2 friends and said it is well worth the money and relaxation....

"I had the pleasure of experiencing a out of this world facial with Jane earlier this year. From the moment I entered into my room I
felt like I was in another world. The room was beautifully lit with candles and smelt just divine. Jane's voice and personality matched
the room's ambience equally. She had so much positive energy that I didn't want my experience to finish. The smell of all the
products she had used on me left me in love with them and I have since been adding to my collection. My favourite is the Almond &
Saffron moisturiser. A definite for all women, especially the mums who never take time out for themselves because they are so busy providing
