The birth of Ayurda Skincare

Inspired by the natural beauty rituals of her mother and older female relatives, our founder, Rippan Sandhu, embarked on a journey to create Ayurda (pronounced 'I–urr–da'). This Sanskrit name derives from the powerful Indian Goddess "Durga," symbolising the bestower of longevity. Ayurda represents a premium skincare range that embraces a holistic philosophy of beauty, harnessing the wisdom of Ayurveda to honor the uniqueness of every individual. We understand that what works for one person may not necessarily work for another.

Our philosophy

At Ayurda, our custom approach is rooted in an understanding of your specific needs, enabling you to achieve healthy, glowing skin. Our products embody a natural energy, purity, and integrity derived not only from how they are made but also from where and by whom. We remain committed to offering Ayurvedic skincare products that are safe, natural, and untouched by chemicals. The purity of our ingredients is paramount, and whenever possible, we source organic materials. Following the Ayurvedic principle that nothing should be applied to the skin if it cannot be ingested internally, we prioritise quality and ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Although beauty is not the central theme of Ayurvedic literature, ancient Ayurvedic sources do help shed light on the subject. Beauty in Ayurveda is not viewed as an external trait and is instead a component of physical, mental, and spiritual health.
